Ambreux Return & Warranty Policy
Your satisfaction is our priority.
At Ambreux, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please read our policy carefully regarding returns, damages, and our 2-year warranty.
30-Day Return Policy
You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn, unused, with all original tags attached, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
How to Start a Return
To start a return, please contact us at support@ambreux.com. If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping address along with instructions on how and where to send your package.
Return shipping is completely free. You do not need to pay any shipping costs to return your item. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Damages and Issues (Initial Inspection)
Please inspect your order immediately upon reception. If the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, contact us at support@ambreux.com within 48 hours of delivery. This allows us to evaluate the issue promptly and make it right. Issues reported after this initial inspection period may fall under our 2-Year Warranty policy, subject to its specific terms and conditions.
2-Year Warranty Policy (Manufacturing Defects)
Ambreux stands by the quality of its products. We offer a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for all our sunglasses, watches, apparel, and accessories.
What Our Warranty Covers (Manufacturing Defects Only)

Materials: Defects in the material components of the product (e.g., lens coating failures, structural integrity issues not caused by impact, spontaneous material degradation).

Workmanship: Flaws arising from the assembly or production process (e.g., improper stitching, loose components like screws that detach shortly after purchase due to incorrect fastening, or non-functional parts due to faulty manufacturing).
What Our Warranty DOES NOT Cover
Our warranty specifically excludes issues arising from normal wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage, or lack of proper care. This includes, but is not limited to:

Normal Wear and Tear: Scratches on lenses or watch cases, fading of colours, degradation of materials over time, or general deterioration from regular use.

Accidental Damage: Breakage, chips, dents, or scratches caused by drops, impacts, crushing, or other external forces.

Misuse or Abuse: Damage resulting from improper handling, unauthorised repairs or modifications, forcing components (e.g., hinges), exposure to extreme temperatures, contact with harsh chemicals (e.g., perfumes, solvents, cleaning agents not recommended for the product), or prolonged exposure to water (unless the product is specifically rated for such exposure).

Loss of Components: Loss of parts such as screws, lens caps, or other small components, unless such loss is reported immediately upon receipt of the product and deemed a manufacturing defect through our technical analysis.

Aesthetic Changes: Minor imperfections or variations in natural materials (e.g., leather, wood) that do not affect the product’s functionality.
How to Claim Warranty

Contact Us: Email support@ambreux.com with your order number, a detailed description of the issue, and clear photos and/or videos illustrating the defect.

Initial Assessment: Our team will conduct an initial assessment based on the information provided.

Product Return for Technical Analysis: If the initial assessment suggests a potential manufacturing defect, you will be instructed to send the product back to us for thorough technical analysis.

Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for the shipping costs to send the item for warranty assessment. If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, Ambreux will reimburse these shipping costs (with proof of expense) and cover the return shipping of the repaired or replacement item. If no manufacturing defect is found, the customer will be responsible for the return shipping cost.
Warranty Resolution

Defect Confirmed: If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will, at our discretion, repair the product, replace it with an identical or similar model (if the original is unavailable), or issue a store credit/refund.

No Defect Found: If the issue is determined not to be a manufacturing defect (e.g., due to wear and tear, misuse, or accidental damage), the product will be returned to you with an explanation, and the return shipping costs will be your responsibility.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned under the 30-day policy. These include perishable goods, custom products (special orders or personalised items), and personal care goods (for hygiene reasons). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards under the 30-day return policy, but our 2-year warranty still applies to manufacturing defects on all eligible products regardless of purchase price.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted and processed, you can then make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receipt, for any reason and without justification. As with our standard return policy, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return or warranty claim, and let you know if the refund (or other resolution) was approved. If approved, the refund will be processed via PayPal to the original payment account within 10 business days.
Please remember it can take some time for PayPal to process and post the refund to your linked bank account or card.
